Fruits that you Must Try in Brazil

I suggest that you try these fruits in all forms: drink the juice, have a fantastic ice cream, eat the sweets, and, of course, just eat the fruit!

Caju
Did you know that cashew nuts come from caju? You can see them in this photo. Read my earlier post to learn more about caju.

Cupuaçu
Native to the Amazon; very used in juices and chocolates

Açaí
Please, you have to eat açaí na tigela com granola. Regardless of any açaí product that you may have tried, please do not come back from Brazil without eating açaí na tigela!

Seriguela

Carambola

Cajá

Jaca

Pinha

Acerola
Super rich in vitamin C

Mangaba
(I love the ice cream and the juice!)

Goiaba
Ok, I know you have guava in the U.S. But have you ever eaten a juicy guava?

Pitanga

There are many other fruits in Brazil, of course. This is just a sample of all you are going to taste there :)
